Below, we answer the most important and frequently searched questions about theater curtains – understandably, practically, and comprehensively. What is a theater curtain? A theater curtain is a large, usually heavy curtain used on stages in theaters, opera houses, multi-purpose halls, or cultural centers. It serves to separate the stage from the auditorium, conceal scene changes, and deliberately build tension. Classically, it opens at the beginning of a performance and closes at the end or between acts. What functions does a theater curtain fulfill? A modern theater curtain has several functions simultaneously: visual effect and stage aesthetics separation of stage and auditorium acoustic support light shielding partially thermal and sound insulation in many cases also fire protection Especially in multi-purpose halls, the curtain is often used multifunctionally, for example for room division or blackout. What materials are theater curtains made of? Traditionally, theater curtains are made of heavy textiles that are durable and dimensionally stable. How heavy is a theater curtain? The weight of a theater curtain is often underestimated and is one of the most frequently asked questions. Floating elegance made of voile - Rabenring in use at Winkler Livecom AG

What an impressive event! For an extraordinary event organized by our Swiss client Winkler Livecom AG, we had the privilege of shining with a very special contribution: custom-made fabrics for a spectacular ceiling decoration that immersed the entire room in an atmospheric light. And it was truly grand:Over 2.5 kilometers of white voile and another 1.5 kilometers in vibrant red were processed by our team – a project that challenged us with its sheer dimension and creative vision. Every single fabric segment was cut precisely according to specifications and carefully prepared: Equipped at the top with webbing and eyelets for secure and quick attachment to the large truss rings. Fitted with velcro on the sides to neatly close the elegant circles. Weighted at the bottom with a sewn-in lead tape, so that the fine, yet surprisingly robust fabrics fall perfectly and unfold their full effect. As soon as the light in the room hit the voile surfaces, the technical implementation transformed into pure magic: a play of red and white that floated above the guests' heads and transformed the entire location into a warm, modern, and at the same time festive ambiance. And the result? Simply impressive.Beautifully illuminated, harmoniously staged, and absolutely effective – exactly as it should be.
